Conductivity Meter ISC402G
Inductive Conductivity Converter
Model ISC402G

The Model ISC402G inductive conductivity converter is designed for use with the Model ISC40G sensor. This revolutionary conductivity measuring system features;
+/- 0.5% accuracy over a very wide range of conductivity values(0 to 20 S/cm) and process temperatures (-20 to 130 degrees C) without changing the cell constant or the need for recalibration.
Because of its contactless measurement principle, the ISC402G converter is suited to various applications such as:
--- the chemical industry, in which the concentration of acids, alkalis or salt solutions is measured for process control purposes
--- food and chemical products and melting and surface treatment industries
--- the pulp and paper industry, for measuring conductivity.

The converter is housed in a cast aluminum epoxy-coated case that is suited for harsh environments. Its size conforms to the DIN standard (144x144mm).

The converter can linearize the output range in concentration units and offers the potential for coefficient "matrix" temperature compensation depending on the process composition. Operating parameters are stored in non-volatile memory, so there is no danger if a power failure occurs.

* Automatic zeroing to eliminate usual temperature and long-term drift caused by magnetic offset between the two toroids
* Wide range of measurements (maximum of 1999mS/cm with just one sensor and without
recalibration)
* Auto-ranging display for best resolution
* Output ranges from 100 micro S/cm to 1999 mS/cm can be set. Zero suppression can be up to 90% of high-limit range.
* Four fully programmable contact outputs. These are convenient for control and alarm outputs.
* As control outputs, an on/off output, proportional duty cycle control and a proportional pulse output are provided.
Input specifications Yokogawa IS40G inductive conductivity sensor
With integral temperature sensor or separate RTD(PT1000 ohm)
Measuring range Conductivity :
0 to 1999 mS/cm(at 25 degrees C reference temperature)
Temperature : -20 degrees C to 130 degrees C
Indicating range Main display : 0.0 micro S/cm to 1999mS/cm
Message display : -20 degrees C to 130 degrees C, 0 to 199.9%
Output signal Two outputs, each 0 to 20 or 4 to 20 mA DC with a maximum load of 600 ohms, isolated from input and power line. The two outputs are not isolated from each other. A common negative line is used for both outputs.
- Output current in fault condition may be selected for 22 mA +/0.5 mA as a warning.
- Both signals can be held(fixed or last value)during maintenance.
- mA1 and mA2 can be configured for independent conductivity ranges.
- mA2 can alternatively be used to give a temperature signal.
