Awarded the contract for a Yokogawa FA-M3 programmable controller to be installed in the Australian National University's 'Big Dish' solar thermal concentrator, the prototype for a base load solar thermal power plant to be built in South Australia

Established an office in the Taranaki region of New Zealand. Yokogawa New Zealand now has offices in Auckland, Christchurch and New Plymouth
 
Awarded the contract to replace the control and instrumentation systems at Section B of the Torrens Island Power Station, Australia's largest gas-fired power station, owned by AGL Energy Limited

Awarded the contract to replace the control system in the Northwest Sanderling, a vessel used to ship liquefied natural gas from WA’s North West Shelf to Japanese and other Asian customers. The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning services. The Northwest Sanderling is operated by NWSS, a Perth-based company jointly owned by Woodside, BP, BHP Billiton, Shell, MIMI and Chevron
