The TSD provides both classroom and hands-on training to users of Yokogawa systems and products.
Yokogawa Middle East (YME) Bahrain established its training center in 1993. Since its inception, our training center has prompted an active environment in the filed of Instrument and Process Control. It offers a complete range of training courses on Yokogawa Distributed Control System, Filed Instrumentation, Industrial Safety System and Management Information System. To date this training center has trained more than 4,000 participants in the Middle East territory from various process control plants.
In order to strengthen our commitment to valued customers, we have also setup training centers in Al-Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This expansion allows us to be flexible to the needs of the customers in these regions. In addition on-site trainings are conducted to facilitate many Operators and Maintenance engineers attend the training courses in their premises. YME has conducted customized courses in DCS system and Fieldbus systems to suit the requirements of various Middle East customers.
Various types of course to cater to different department users in a process plant is provided. Types of courses include Fundamental course for Operators, Fundamental course for Engineers, Engineering course for System Engineers and Maintenance course for Maintenance personnel. With the Fundamental field bus technology gaining acceptance and being used in many plants, YME has training programs to train the Foundation Fieldbus users. Two courses i.e. Orientation and Engineering courses are provided to the Foundation Fieldbus users. Courses related to Plant information Management systems (PIMS) and Industrial Safety system are also conducted.
A fixed schedule for various courses is released for the complete calendar year. Other than the fixed schedule training courses are also conducted on request.
