Yokogawa Middle East Engineering Division currently functions with about 50 staff consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, System Engineers and Project Support disciplines. If required additional capable and trained manpower can be mobilized from subsidiaries and resource centre at India, China & Philippines.

Undertakes various types of contract agreements including Turnkey Solutions, Lump Sum Fixed Price and Unit Rate Cost Reimbursable contracts or purchase orders.

Type of projects handled are control & instrumentation projects for grass root plant to reinstrumentation of existing system taking single point responsibility.

Engineering Division provides comprehensive range of services including site survey, feasibility studies, front end engineering, project management, basic design, detailed design, procurement, testing, installation supervision, commissioning assistance & documentation.

Project Yokogawa Middle East successfully implemented involves system integration of Distributed control system with several subsystems like ESD system, vibration monitoring system, field instrumentation etc.

Type of projects varies from green filed process plant, plant expansion, replacement with on-line tie in work. Each project will be managed by experienced project manager understanding the customer’s need and with focus on keeping cost quality and schedule strictly following the ISO 9001 quality procedure.

In January 2006, Yokogawa Middle East will be adding to its engineering capabilities with the opening of a new engineering facility at Bahrain’s International Investment Park and a new engineering center at Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates. The company will also be reinforcing its engineering capabilities in Saudi Arabia.
