You probably already know Yokogawa as a reliable partner for all your analyzer measurements: pH, conductivity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, oxygen in fuel gasses, ... Aside from the already more than 50 years of delivering high quality products we also offer you associated services. Our team of specialized technicians is at your service for corrective and preventive maintenance, but also for education, advice and support. Our know-how rests on the control of the complete life cycle of the measuring chain: from R&D, development, production upon sales, installation, start-up assistance, maintenance and optimization. This unique combination of disciplines forms our technicians to your ideal partner for servicing.

Start-up Assistance
The correct installation, calibration and parameter setups are without a doubt the most important terms for a good on-line measurement. Our Service department can perform these duties entirely or partly for you. We do not only take care of the start up of your measurement but also immediately conduct a first calibration with certified equipment and calibrated products.


We also give a short introduction about the use and setup of the equipment and will advise you on how to manage your measuring loop in the future (periodic calibrations, evaluation of the electrodes, determining the life span of the electrodes, ...).

Periodic Maintenance
An industrial environment is not always evenly friendly on your equipment: a dusty or humid environment mechanical polishing of cables, corrosion, ... Our instruments are designed for use in the most demanding applications, but also they are not insensitive for decay. Periodic maintenance can guard you from unexpected failure. Our technicians perform an inspection for looking at the mechanical and electrical status of the measuring loop:

• Maintenance on corrosion at the contact points. This could lead to disturbed signals.
• Check of the impedance of the cables, electrodes and insulation material.
• Mechanical damage doesn’t have to be noticed externally, but can lead to contact problems in the cables or to the electrode-connectors. Leaks in the insulation can cause incorrect measurements.
• Inspection of the sealings, salt bridge, KCl reservoirs, cleaning systems, ...
• General maintenance of the working and condition of the equipment (display, control, mA output, alarms, regulation functions, ...)
• Looking after the setup of the transmitter.

Of course all determined and potentional problems will also be immediately repaired. Our engineers have the most common parts and electrodes on stock to optimize your measuring loop immediately.

Calibration with Certificate
You want a thorough check of the accuracy of your measurement? You need a calibration certificate traceable to international standards? In more and more applications a traceable certificate is wanted, or even indispensable. Environmental legislation, internal quality demands, validation, ... they all require a periodic calibration with reference-equipment that is certified and traceable to international standards. Yokogawa offers you these services. We verify and calibrate your measurements according a tested calibration -method.
With this we deliver a certificate that meets the most inspections (ISO9000, FDA, GAMP, ...). Our reference equipment is certified minimally once a year to international standards.



Consulting Service
Our engineers have build up years of experience with analyzer measurements in various industrial branches. This can be used to your advantage. We can advise you with:

• The optimisation of an analyzer measurement and the choice of the best suited electrode.
• Making a calibration plan and determine the optimum calibration period.
• To control a loop by using an on-line analyser measurement, for example by dosing acid for pH control.
• Periodic discussion with your engineers to exchange experience and knowledge, draw an action plan, to evaluate taken actions,……

With such services of course in advance the extend of the services and the aimed results will be defined and we will suggest you a solution best suited for you.

Calibration in our Service-Centers
We can also certify your (portable) equipment and electrodes in our service centres. For pH-meters or conductivity meters we perform the maintenance, calibration and certification. This and other validations and certifications, for example determine again the cell constant of a conductivity sensor, we perform in our analytical manufacturing unit in Amersfoort (The Nederlands).





Training & Education
Our analyzer measurements are simple to operate, but still some insight in the basic principles of the measurement is necessary for proper use and interpretation of the measuring results. Our trainers are engineers who have worked for years in the field and can use their field experience to link theoretical knowledge to real applications. Our standard education in pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen or zirconia only take one day, but are very efficient and field directed. The trainee receives a refreshment of their theoretical background, discuss the most occurring measuring problems and solutions and after this the trainees will exercise with test setups.

This course can be situated in our offices or at your company. Because we organize this course for one company at a time we change the content of the training to apply to your application and specific measuring problems.
