Efforts toward Standardization
Promoting OPC
Yokogawa believes that providing process data in an open environment enhances the linkage between the management and production domains. We have played a leading role in OPC standardization since the establishment of the OPC Foundation and have been quick to introduce to the market products that are compliant with OPC specifications. We are working to promote wider acceptance of the OPC specifications and continue to propose to our customers better ways in which they can configure their systems.
OPC Foundation Activities
As a member of the OPC Foundation's board of directors, Yokogawa participates in the management of this body. We are also represented on the Technical Steering Committee, are playing a central role in writing specifications as chair of the OPC Batch working group and so on.
OPC Interoperability Workshops
We have verified the high connectivity of our products in OPC interconnection tests conducted at the following workshops:
