Migrating CENTUM CS 1000 into CENTUM CS
3000 or CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Class has been made available to strengthen
Yokogawa's DCS line ups for customers. It
enables CENTUM CS 1000 to have Subsystem Connection Gateway GSGW, OPC Station
for System Integration SIOS, Safety Instrumented System ProSafe-RS and Operation
and Monitoring Server HIS-TSE. Followings
are the major enhancements that CENTUM CS 1000 will be able to handle with this
migration;

Operation monitoring and engineering can be
done via CENTUM CS 3000 (incl. CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Class).
l
No hardware modification is required for CENTUM
CS 1000 Field Control Station, except when it is changed from single bus to
dual-redundant bus, as it is classified as one of the control stations of CENTUM
CS 3000 (incl. CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Class).

Converting CENTUM CS 1000 project data base
into that of CENTUM CS 3000 (incl. CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Class) can be done
automatically.
l
CENTUM CS 1000 with the existing single bus can
be migrated into CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Class single bus.
l
Along with the expansion of the system, CENTUM
CS 3000 Entry Class can also be migrated into CENTUM CS 3000.
In this case, it is required to have dual-redundant V net and Ethernet.

Adding new line ups of Single V net Bus
Converter ABC11S, it is possible to connect dual-redundant V net (upper bus)
systems and single bus V net (lower bus) systems.
l
V net Router AVR10D enables to connect a CENTUM
CS 3000 (incl. CENTUM CS 3000 Entry Classs) system with a single bus V net or
single-bus VL net system (lower bus).
