The following changes have been made to version R3.08.50 of the CENTUM CS 3000 to enhance interaction with version R1.03.00 of the ProSafe-RS SIS, which is being released at the same time.

• The SCS Simulation Test can be started from the CENTUM CS 3000 System View window.
• The Expanded Test Functions, the FCS Simulator Package and the HIS Simulator Package for the CENTUM CS 3000 are compatible with the SCS and can conduct test functions in the same manner as the FCS.
• The Exatif CS 3000 (Exatif DCS Interface for Training Simulator for CENTUM CS 3000) can be applied to configure Training Simulator System on the ProSafe-RS.
• The CENTUM CS 3000 FCS receives data from a safety control station (SCS) via Global Switches.

This new package enables communication between field control stations (FCS) and EtherNet/IP nodes (Rockwell Automation’s Logix Programmable Automation Controllers) via the CIP protocol. It also supports DeviceNet communications with Linking Devices.

New functions have been added to the CAMS for HIS Consolidated Alarm Management Software Package. The main features are described below.

• Historical Viewer
  Monitors the alarms and events occurred in the past in the form of historical viewer of CAMS for HIS. It displays OPC messages acquired by CAMS for HIS.

 
• Test Function
  Creates virtual alarms and event messages based on the actual CAMS for HIS environment and transmits these to test if the alarm system is designed properly.

Starting with version R3.08.50, the CENTUM CS 3000 Report Packages and FCS Data Setting/Acquisition Packages support Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
