Release of DrvGIII with MECHATROLINK-II Interface
Yokogawa released the MECHATROLINK-II compliant interface for Intelligent Driver DrvGIII of Direct Drive Motor DYNASERV / LINEARSERV. (May 20,2009)
MECHATROLINK-II is the open high-speed Motion Field Network and provides the following advantages.
- High resolution, high speed and high performance control, combined with multiple axes synchronous control
- Reduced wiring, simple configuration and low costs
- Combination with the positioning module (model with MECHATROLINK-II Interface) of FA-M3R(PLC) enables the fullest possible use of the performance (high speed and high resolution) of the motor, by making communication commands available.
*:DrvGIII for DYNASERV DR5A motor does not support MECHATROLINK-II.
