Linear Motor
LINEARSERV
LINEARSERV LM series linear motors employ the direct drive method. A feature of these products is a built-in interpolated linear encoder using a unique glass scale. With their highly accurate full-close position control and smooth driving operation, they are superior to traditional AC servomotors with ball screws.
LM Series

• Positioning repeatability: 0.1-0.5 µm
• Low vibration
• Force-weight ratio: 7 G
• All-in-one design
• Multiple slider independent positioning
• Minimal temperature increase
In addition to the above features, a structurally proven linear guide is employed to ensure adequate rigidity to withstand load.
Special high-rigidity models and high-speed models with a maximum speed of 2 m/sec, are also available.
The drive has an I-PD position control function. By giving serial pulse commands and the like, position control can be easily performed via interfaces, as if using a pulse motor. Also, complicated adjustments to the drive are not necessary, and its size has been reduced, thereby enhancing operability and handling to a significant extent.
LINEARSERV LM Series motors offer many stroke lengths from 50mm, maximum thrust 40-400 N, and 4 models (standard model, high-stiffness model, high-speed model, and a high-stiffness and high-speed model). The stroke length, thrust level, and model can be combined for the chosen application.
