Just graduated? As a Trainee DCS (Distributed Control System) and Safety Engineering, you will undertake a comprehensive programme of training. On successful completion of the training programme, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and experience to progress as a DCS or Safety Engineer within Yokogawa.

Job
- Main technical liaison between the customer and Yokogawa located at home office and remote locations
- Analyse customer's functional requirements and work with customer's engineers towards sensible system solutions
- Co-ordinate internal tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Responsible for the correct- technical design, implementation and testing for the part of the scope as assigned to within the timeframes as agreed
- Assists the Project Manager with the activity planning and execution of the work
- Willingness to work offshore or overseas to suit project requirements; implementation and test of modifications and commissioning of complete systems on site
- Develop customer awareness of Yokogawa DCS or Safety engineering capabilities
- Technical responsibility for all aspects of design, installation, and commissioning of DCS or Safety systems
Profile
- Technical education (at least Bachelor level), e.g. Information Technology,
- Chemical Engineering, Operational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro technical Engineering, Process Automation etc.
- Fluently in English (speaking and writing skills)
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Flexible attitude and problem solving skills
- Capable of working independently in the project team or with customers
- Strong communication skills. Understanding and flexible in working with different cultures
