Process Industry Solutions group advises, sells, delivers and optimizes industry-specific solutions for leading customers in Europe and Africa. To meet the growing demand for Yokogawa’s solutions in refineries, we wish to expand our professional staff.
Position
The Yokogawa Business Development Manager manages and drives the European refinery automation business.
The manager:
• In cooperation with Major Account Managers and Country Managers defines and realizes the European refinery automation business plan;
• Develops high level contacts with Client management and other decision makers in the refinery industry;
• Coordinates business development and activities with the global Yokogawa headquarters in Japan;
• Takes part in bid preparation as essential action to meet Customer demands and supports the European sales staff to conclude major project orders;
• These orders include:
- Instrumentation, CS 3000 DCS, GC’s, etc.
- Off-site automation systems, incl. CS 3000 DCS and OMS applications.
- Optimisation based on alarm management, APC, etc.
- Refinery Information Systems, etc.
- Consultancy based on Yokogawa’s capabilities in areas relevant for customers
• Presents and promotes refinery industry solutions at seminars and congresses.
• Monitors market trends and business developments and adapts strategies as required.
• Concentrates on delivering value to Yokogawa’s Customers.
Profile
• A degree in Chemical and/or Process Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the refining and/or petrochemical industry, preferably in a major oil company;
• Knowledge of refining phases, process equipment, unit and off-site operations;
• Knowledge of economics of refinery operations is needed to bring value to our Customers and move Yokogawa forward in the refining industries;
• Affinity with process automation is a must;
• Result-oriented, target driven and have excellent presentation and communication skills;
• Able to act independently and at the same time to collaborate in professional teams with common goals and objectives;
• A major player with leading influence to sell total solutions and to close important deals;
• Good closing skills, creative, innovative and show perseverance in getting the job done;
• Internationally oriented and proficient in English.
