Binnen Yokogawa engineering is een global engineer tool (yGet) aanwezig. Deze tool is nog niet geschikt voor het engineeren van SCADA projecten. Voor het engineeren van SCADA projekten worden een aantal eigen ontwikkelde tools gebruikt. Deze tools zijn geschreven in VBA en Visual Basic. De opdracht bestaat uit een inventarisatie van de eigen ontwikkelde tools en de mogelijkheden en opzet van yGet. Daarna zal een plan gemaakt moeten worden hoe op basis van de eigen ontwikkelde tools de SCADA engineering toegevoegd kan worden aan yGet. Dit zal worden gevolgd door de implementatie in yGet in Visual Basic.NET.
