Site Engineer Modifications (M/F)

An attractive new European office is under construction in Amersfoort. In 2008 we will relocate there from our three present sites in the Netherlands. This move will efficiently bring together the know-how and experience of our European headquarters, the Dutch sales and service organisation and our European systems engineering centre.

For Yokogawa System Center Europe, based in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands), we seek:

Site Engineer Modifications (M/F)

  • Emergency service and breakdown repair work in accordance with an availability schedule;
  • Carrying out Preventive Maintenance;
  • Carrying out Shutdown Maintenance;
  • Implementing new software versions;
  • Giving Service Training courses;
  • Executing small-scale modification projects;
  • Installing and starting up new systems;
  • Coordinating / answering technical questions (Help Desk);
  • Reporting on all customer-oriented activities.
  • Relevant bachelor or master degree (Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics);
  • Several years experience in technical or industrial automation;
  • Preferably familiar with process automation;
  • Experienced in logic design and testing;
  • Familiar with various computer operating systems (UNIX, WIN2000, NT, OPC);
  • Familiar with various PC aaplications (MS Office);
  • Capable to work autonomously in a structured fashion;
  • Teamplayer and accurate;
  • Preferably in possession of a European Safety Passport (VOL-VCA);
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
