Yokogawa Norge, based in Sola is a young affiliate of Yokogawa that serves our customers off-shore and in mainland Norway. For this office, we are looking for a new colleague in the position of:
Safety and Automation System Engineer (M/F)
Job
- As one of the first employees in the Yokogawa Norge organization the job offers many variations and opportunities to grow with the young organization.
- You will be the main technical liaison to Norwegian customers for large projects that Yokogawa executes in our European headquarter in The Netherlands and for smaller projects that are executed in Sola.
- Design and implement process control applications in Yokogawa systems on the basis of P&ID's and Instrument Databases. Discuss, test and finalise solutions together with customer's engineers.
- Provide application engineering support and technical support to customers.
- Provide trainings, demonstrations and support sales.
Profile
- Education: Engineering (Mechanical or Process preferred).
- 3-5 years experience in Norway as SAS (lead) engineer with a systems integrator, oil & gas company or controls vendor.
- Extensive knowledge of Safety and Automation Systems and practical experience in process control, safety and information management systems for offshore and marine.
- Able to interact successfully with operators, I&C technicians, engineers and management while switching between roles of engineering, service and sales support.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian (speaking and writing skills).
- Willingness to travel as part of the training program and project work.
