Purchasing Co-ordinator
(approx 7 month term)
Job
- Register all incoming orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Enter all customer record quickly and accurately into the Company system, in line with the Company's requirements.
- Check all confirmation orders, ensuring no duplicity and verifying entered order.
- Handle all customer queries, both external and internal, ensuring a prompt and professional response at all times.
- Place purchase orders on Yokogawa suppliers, monitoring delivery acknowledgements and modifying customer orders accordingly, bringing to attention of Management any serious supply delays.
- Maintain files in good order, in compliance with Company rules and procedures, ensuring both current and invoiced filing systems are up to date.
- Assist colleagues in achieving key responsibilities.
Profile
- Experience in an office environment.
- Team working within a busy office environment.
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers, both verbally and written communication.
- Excellent communication and computer related skills required.
