Yokogawa Nederland awarded contract by Kvaerner Process


Yokogawa Nederland BV has been awarded a contract by Kvaerner Process (Netherlands) BV for a complete process control system for the butanedial (BDO-2) plant from Lyondell Chemical Nederland Ltd. The award was obtained under competitive commercial conditions by bidding against an enquiry from Kvaerner.

Yokogawa delivers the new state-of-the-art CENTUM CS3000 system and the safety system from Triconex including all services. The project will be executed by the engineering department from Yokogawa Nederland.

From the introduction of CENTUM CS3000 in 1999, Yokogawa Nederland received 16 orders, including the BDO-2 plant, for the automation of mainly large size plants.
