Yokogawa Introduces US300 Ultrasonic Flowmeter

Yokogawa is adding a new and innovative flowmeter technology to its wide range of flow measurement solutions, the US300 Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter. The US300 Series is a clamp-on device, utilizing the transit-time principle metering liquid and high pressure gas flows.

The US300 Series addresses many of today’s ultrasonic flowmetering problem areas. An advanced dual microprocessor correlation transit-time signal processing technique, provides superior measurement robustness over conventional devices. Subsequently this results in a high measurement sensitivity and a high degree of tolerance to entrained air bubbles and/or particles.

Other significant features of the US300 Series are;

  • Robust, flow calibrated matched pair of transducers
  • All stainless steel transducers
  • Menu-driven configuration and operation

The advantage of the flow calibrated matched pair of transducers eliminates zero offset, and guarantees excellent linearity and measurement stability. The menu-driven configuration and operation facilitates quick installation and commissioning. The US300 Series will be released in two versions, a portable unit for temporary measurements and field service, and a unit intended for permanent installation.

Yokogawa has kept pace with the evolving needs of its customers with the introduction of new products to answer modern challenges with the latest technology. The US300 Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter is more evidence of this commitment from one of the world’s leaders in flow solutions.
