Yokogawa introduces digitalYewflo as the latest offering in its line of world class vortex flowmeters. Based on the field-proven sensor technology of the Yewflo series of vortex flowmeters, digitalYewflo features new advanced algorithms known as Spectral Signal Processing (SSP) embedded in the amplifier.
Spectral Signal Processing (SSP) continuously analyzes the incoming signals providing real time data and adapts to changing noise conditions to continuously provide optimum flow signals. The SSP technology in addition eliminates the need for start-up tuning even in noisy environments, and also affords the user unique diagnostic capabilities by providing alarms for such anomalies as entrained gas. The user benefits through greater reliability, reduced maintenance, and a lower total cost of ownership.
The digitalYewflo also offers a number of new features including;
- Accuracy to +/-0.75% of reading
- Simultaneous analog and pulse outputs
- Parameter settings by HART and Brain communication or via indicator mounted pushbuttons
- High Process Temperature capability up to 450º C
- Status output for flow switch and alarm function
- Two line LCD indicator for simultaneous flow rate and total readings and detailed self-diagnostics
- Full compliance to ATEX and NAMUR
Available in integral or remote configurations, with flanged or wafer connections in line sizes from 15mm to 400mm, digitalYewflo can be applied in liquid, gas and steam applications. In fact, unique to digitalYewflo is the flow measurement across the full diameter of the pipe, thus providing precision measurement, and short inlet straight section of pipe reducing installation costs.
For more than 40 years, Yokogawa has kept pace with evolving user needs with the continuous introduction of new products to answer modern challenges with the latest technology. Our market leadership of more than 200,000 installed units worldwide proves the confidence our customers have in our vortex flowmeters.
