Yokogawa Europe B.V., a world leader in precision wide band digital power analyzers, introduces the model WT1600, a six-phase power analyzer designed with the most advanced feature set to meet the needs of design, development and production testing engineers working with inverters, electric motor evaluation, power supplies, lighting equipment, appliances and home entertainment systems.
The new WT1600 represents the next generation of precision power analyzers. In addition to offering from one to six input elements, the WT1600 has Ethernet capability, 12 MB of internal memory, a 10 GB hard drive, SCSI interface, floppy disk drive, 6.4-Inch TFT colour LCD display with VGA monitor output, a built-in printer, speed and torque inputs for motor evaluation, and a bandwidth of DC to 1 MHz. The harmonic measurement function is capable of measuring waveforms and analysing results up to 100 orders. The results can be displayed as numerical values, bar graphs, or as a vector display.
Self-contained power measurement ranges are from 15 mW to 150 kW, with a basic accuracy of 0.1%. Current input ranges are from 10 mA to 50 A RMS, and voltage input ranges are from 1.5 V to 1000 V RMS. Twenty-nine individual power parameters are continuously and simultaneously measured on each of the input elements with a data update rate as fast as 50 ms (20 times per sec). A trend display function can record up to 16 different parameters simultaneously for 30 seconds to 10 days. There is also a user-defined math feature that allows the user to enter up to four application specific equations.
The WT1600 is covered with a standard 3-year warranty. Yokogawa offers a complete line consisting of 12 different digital power analyzers to meet the specific application and budget requirements of the customer. In addition to the digital power analyzer line, Yokogawa is a leading supplier of other test & measurement instruments including digital oscilloscopes and data acquisition systems.
