Yokogawa Introduces Fourier Transform Infrared Spectromer

Yokogawa Europe announces the release of the next generation of Fourier Transform FT-NIR Spectrometer for use in the Oil & Gas, Food & Pharmaceutical and semiconductor Industries.

Yokogawa has designed an improved Infrared Spectrometer called the NR800 which is designed for meeting the needs of measurement for many more applications than it’s predecessor the NR500. The analyser has no frictional wearing parts, stable actuator and quartz half mirrors, and vibration resistant design giving very high Signal to noise and stability. Calibration models can therefore be built with confidence and are easily transferable between lab and process versions of the analysers.

FT-NIR Spectrometer Features and benefits:

  • Laser controller interferometer – highly stable & linear spectral measurement, fully transferable.
  • Stand alone process operation – In-built stable computer for true process on-line operation.
  • 4 true Simultaneous channels, not using a multi-plexer but detectors and beam splitting.
  • Choice of double or single beam optical paths. For true process double beam fibres eliminate temperature variations.
  • Suitable for Zone 1 hazardous installations, allowing flexibility of installation.
  • With support facilities in Japan, Singapore, US and Europe, plus partnerships with small niche application development companies enables us to grow and extend our universal support for a very wide range of applications.

About Yokogawa Europe
The European headquarters were founded in Amersfoort, the Netherlands in 1982. Throughout Europe Yokogawa has its own sales, service and engineering operations. This dedicated network has been extended to Central and East Europe and Southern Africa to further enhance the coverage and support associated with serving the process control and automation market place. We develop and produce at Yokogawa in Germany, liquid analysers and industrial safety systems in the Netherlands. In addition to this dedicated network of Yokogawa subsidiaries a select organisation of Test & Measurement subsidiaries and distributors is established in certain areas to support the specific customer needs of this continuously developing and specific market of T&M instrumentation.
