How Yokogawa controls products and activities in compliance with CE-marking,WEEE, RoHS, and other EU directives and regulations.
Yokogawa Electric Corporation accepts its responsibility towards the environment and global society. Supported by the Corporate Social Responsibility program Yokogawa Europe and its subsidiaries conduct its business in an ethical and fair manner. This implies that Yokogawa Europe and its subsidiaries will not only obey by the rules and legislation in force in the EU area, but will also actively promote and pursue improvement in its contribution to a sustainable world. To control compliance, the Compliance Management group of the Quality Services department of Yokogawa Europe monitors the development and publication of EU-directives and the transposition into national legislation, and Yokogawa’s product design and manufacturing locations, being instructed to build products intended for the EU area to be compliant with all applicable EU-Directives and regulations.
Yokogawa Europe is responsible as importer for Yokogawa products being imported into the EU.
