Presentation: Life Cycle Maintenance agreement
Janwillem van der Voordt, senior buyer, has 13 years of experience in I&E maintenance and maintenance engineering. He started his career in 1995 with Arco chemical at the Rotterdam-Botlek plant. From the period 2001-2006 he worked as an maintenance engineer in the Electrical & Instrumentation reliability department. This period he has served in several technical support roles including specification and testing of critical I&A systems, start up & commissioning BDO plant and PO11. The last two years he worked on an assignment base within procurement. In this role he was a project leader to change the transactional materials purchasing processes to a strategic sourcing model. Secondly, he was the focal point assigned to explore and set up the Life Cycle Management (LCM) contract with Yokogawa.

Dr. Rolf Guth Uhde Services GmbH
Presentation: Operational Excellence the EPC view
After his degree in Electrical Engineering Dr. Rolf Guth started his career as research assistant at the Institute for Automatic Control, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen. He continued his career in chemical industry at Hoechst AG and in software at AspenTech. Today Dr. Guth fills a position as Head of Process Technology Division at Uhde Services GmbH, a company of ThyssenKrupp Technologies.

Tomás Zumárraga Ortiz Bridgestone Europe
Presentation: Bridgestone & Firestone merger. The story of a success
After his bachelor degree in Economy at the Bilbao University, the professional history of Tomás Zumárraga Ortiz has been developed completely in Bridgestone Hispania, S.A., where he started in 1977 as System Analyst. After working in the departments of Audit & Purchasing, he moved to Madrid where he carried out various positions. In 1985 he became Regional Director, Central Area, in 1989, Bridgestone Director for Spain and in 1993, Sales General Director.
In 1995 he is named Managing Director, Sales Division, position which he holds at present. Also, in 1998 he is appointed Advisor of Bridgestone Europe.
Next to that he is president of the association ‘Shacho Kai’, non Japanese general directors in Japanese companies and president of Signus Ecovalor, a non-profit organisation founded in 2005 for the environmental management of obsolete & used tyres.

| Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Albert – Evonik Degussa GmbH
Presentation: Integrating a Tokuchu in CS3000
In 1982 Wolfgang Albert started his career at Degussa looking after the implementation of several advanced control concepts in the Process Technology department. After 3 years he became member of the engineering team at the Degussa plant site in Alabama, USA, implementing an energy management system. In 1988 he moved back to the process technology department in Germany and one year later he was appointed head of Electrical & Instrumentation in the plant development area, responsible for the conceptual design and erection of different laboratory and miniplants. In 1999 he became head of E&I at Infracor and later IPW GmbH (both 100%-daughters of Degussa). Currently, he holds the position as head of the group automation and process management within the engineering department of Evonik Degussa. On a worldwide basis the group is responsible for the conceptual design and erection of chemical production plants.
He is furthermore head of the NAMUR working committee 2.1 ‘PLC and DCS’; and member of the VDI/VDE GMA working committee.
