Assembling Position: Vertical
Assembly: Before installing the device in the tube remove all packaging particles and the
cardboard strip which serves to secure the float during transport.
The existing tube must be exactly in line, so that the rotameter can be installed
tension-free.
Fasten bolted joints only until the rotameter is tight. Usually fastening by hand is
enough; maximum torque must not exceed approx. 10 Nm.
Leakage check: Do not use any leak test fluids (sprays) containing alcohol or solvents. We
recommend soap and water solution to check for leaks.
Commissioning: Please make sure that there is no alcohol or solvent in the measuring fluid.
Maximum pressure load: 20 bar abs. with iron couplings
10 bar abs. with plastic couplings
Maximum temperature: - 10° up to +100° C
Maintenance: The RAQN rotameters are maintenance-free.
If dirt accumulates in the meter tube, remove the device and clean it with soap and
water solution (not with solvent or alcohol). Remove dirt or dust on the outside with a
dustcloth. |
