Description:
Exaquantum/SDM improves the performance of a sub system by helping to manage its total loading. In certain situations the OPC server and the sub system (DCS, PLC, ESD, etc.) which it serves may be too overloaded to work in the normal asynchronous mode. In these cases Exaquantum/SDM can be used to poll the OPC server, this manages the load more effectively on both the OPC server and the sub system.
