Objectives
Enable ProSafe-PLC Project Engineers to create a complete new system from the Functional Design Specification until the Test phase.
This course will outline implementation of ESD and F&G systems, typicals, the Master Tag List and ProSafe-COM. The emphasis of this course is the method of working within the SCE company.

Project engineers and process control engineers who will implement a ProSafe-PLC system.

Course duration is 1 day.

Prerequisites
Fundamental knowledge of computers and a working knowledge of MS-Windows. Fundamental knowledge of electronics and boolean logic.

Day 1:

• Welcome and course introduction.
• Introduction to ProSafe-COM ModCom.
• ProSafe-COM ModCom hardware overview.
• Exercise: ProSafe-COM ModCom hardware familiarisation.
• Concepts of ProSafe-COM ModCom software.
• Exercise: ProSafe-COM ModCom software Tour. Communicating with ProSafe-PLC, Communicating with ProSafe- SLS.
• Creating a ProSafe-COM ModCom configuration.
• Exercise: Creating a configuration.
• ProSafe-COM ModCom maintenance features.
• Exercise: Fault finding and corrective maintenance.
• Evaluation.
