PRM has an open integration tool to connect with external application softwares such as valve management softwares and device maintenance softwares. This scheme is called PLUG-IN Application (PIA) interfacing. It enables these softwares to run on PRM as client softwares and enables them to communicate with related devices through Yokogawa host systems. Yokogawa provides a PIA interfacing development kit for software suppliers with a contract. The suppliers are requested to develop interfacing software and to send it to Yokogawa for integration testing.
