ADMAG AE magnetic Flowmeters (Fieldbus communication type)
The ADMAG AE is our Advanced Engineering magnetic flowmeter. An evolution of the field-proven ADMAG series, the ADMAG AE employs the dual frequency excitation method to provide quick response and noise free output, and has a ceramic lining that supports an even greater range of applications.

ADMAG AE(Fieldbus communication type) is a compact type magnetic flowmeter that is the successor of the ADMAG AM and continues to use the dual frequency excitation method.
Ex-proof-type, both of integral and remote type, can be provided.

Specifications (Fieldbus Communication)

  • Eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional pulsed DC excitation method.
    The dual frequency excitation method provides stable measurement in fluid flow with high-density slurry and low conductivity fluid flow, as well as a quick response and high zero stability.
  • Superior abrasion and corrosion resistance for measurement for high-temperature application
    Yokogawa's ceramic flow tube is 99.9% high purity alumina to deliver maximum reliability.
  • For batch control and pulsating flow measurement
    Quick response of 0.1 sec allows accurate measurement in batch controlled and pulsating flows.
  • Highly reliable leak-free electrode construction
    The electrodes are trouble-free due to no clearance between the molded PFA lining and springs.
    The electrodes for the ceramic lining are also leak-free because there is no seal point between the electrode and ceramic flow tube thanks to the use of a unique liner molding technology.
  • Dual cavity housing converter for greater environmental resistance
    Separation of electronic parts from wiring parts to protect them from water infiltrating into the wiring port.
  • Explosion-proof, integral type and remote type
    An explosion-proof type with built-in barrier is available.
