| Signature Function |
The signature function measures the I/O characteristics of valves and positioners as well as the step responses of valves during off-line control. As this function can measure more than 2,000 points, it is possible to accurately detect changes in valve I/O characteristics. With ValveNavi, it is easy to display graphs of valve I/O characteristics and to compare measurement data with previous data. With the signature function, it is much easier to detect maintenance problems such as slack in gland packing, wear of springs and clogging of valves. |
