Q	What's the difference between the multi-variable and mass flow measurement options?
A	When the multi-variable option is ordered instead of the mass flow option, the transmitter will not compute mass flow. Any one of the PVs for external temperature, static pressure, and differential pressure can be assigned for the 4-20 mA output, and the other two process variables can be observed through their associated HART or FOUNDATION™ fieldbus parameters.

Q	Why do I have to purchase your RTD cable for the transmitter when I have my own?
A	The Yokogawa RTD cable has a proprietary connector on one end that must be connected to our transmitter; the other end can then be terminated in the connection head of a standard RTD sensor. The proprietary connector is used to maintain the compact design of the EJX.

Q	Does the EJX910A allow HART multidrop mode?
A	Yes, multidrop mode is enabled by setting a HART address greater than 0; typically 1 through 15 can be used. Once set, the 4-20 mA output will be clamped to 4 mA, and you must use the HART parameters to read the transmitter's variables.
