List of questions and answers
Q&A for the basic specifications
Q What is the YTA50?
A The YTA50 is a 2-wire temperature transmitter that can be mounted in a DIN Form B-compliant temperature sensor housing without modification. As no special housing or mounting bracket is needed, it costs less to install.

Q What is the measurement principle of the YTA50?
A When a thermocouple is used, the YTA50 measures the electromotive force and terminal block temperature, and uses the electromotive force data to calculate the temperature.
When an RTD is used, the YTA50 passes a very small electric current through the RTD to measure electrical resistance.
Based on the relationship between resistance and temperature, it then calculates the temperature.

Q What are the advantages of the YTA50?
A The YTA50 is more cost efficient and is easy to mount.

Q What do I need to consider when I order the YTA50?
A The cost efficient YTA50 is recommended for applications where there is no change in sensor type, measurement range, and other items and where the transmitter can be mounted in a DIN Form B-compliant sensor housing.

Q Are there any reference materials for the YTA50?
A Catalogs, general specifications, and drawings can be downloaded from our website.
