Yokogawa Participates in All-Energy Australia 2011
On October 12 and 13, Yokogawa Australia participated in the All-Energy Australia 2011 exhibition and conference at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
All-Energy Australia is an annual exhibition and conference that focuses on renewable energy. The conference covers topics such as the Australian and global markets and diversification opportunities, and also provides technology updates. In a collaborative effort, Yokogawa Australia and NEP Solar exhibited their HSX10 solar tracking controller, FAST/TOOLS SCADA, and PolyTrough 1200 solar collector solutions. As most of the other systems on display were photovoltaic, this exhibit truly stood out.
An actual integrated system like the one on display has been installed for use in a cooling application at the GPT Charlestown Square shopping center in Newcastle, New South Wales (north of Sydney).
Yokogawa’s solar tracking solution consists of the HSX10, which keeps solar panels aligned with the sun, and the FAST/TOOLS SCADA, which provides detailed performance and status information to maximize output.
