ISA Automation Week at Houston
ISA Automation Week this year changed the style. More technical conferences and round table panel discussions than exhibitions were arranged at Houston, Texas,Oct.4-7,2010.
Yokogawa had own wireless booth which a wireless gateway with two wireless EJXs and four YTAs. Yokogawa also participated in FDT booth showing FieldMate connected to FOUNDATION Fieldbus devices.
Yokogawa appealed Yokogawa’s wireless capability connecting with other vendor’s devices ISA 100 standard specification.

WCI Combined system
WCI member companies: Yokogawa, Honeywell, GE, Yamatake, Nivis, Gastronics, R3 Sensors and Apprion made a combined demonstration about the interoperability based on ISA 100.11a. This demonstration unit will be used for the promotion at Asian countries as well as European market by WCI.

Mr.Amit Ajmeri of YCA gave a short demonstration to YCA members. Mr. Amit Ajmeri and Mr.Gary Reeves will proceed the wireless promotion in YCA.
The demo system includes 6 wirelss devices, CENTUM VP and PRM asset management system.

Yokogawa exhibited wireless gateway unit and FCS at center position. The large screen at left side shows PRM and wireless management tool. And field use lap top PC shows a provisioning of wireless devices at center left side.

Mr.Nelson Ninin, ISA President visited Yokogawa booth. Mr. Ninin loudly appealed the advantage of ISA 100.11a interoperable wireless technology at many activities during the week.
