Newnan, Georgia - Yokogawa Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems and industry support, is proud to announce the construction of a new facility in Sugar Land, Texas. The new state-of-the-art, 100,000 square foot facility, which broke ground on January 28th, will be home to the Industrial Automation business sector of Yokogawa Corporation of America. Several separate offices will be consolidated into the larger, more central Sugar Land property.
“This is the realization of a long-term goal for Yokogawa in America,” said Shuzo Kaihori, President and CEO of Yokogawa Corporation of America. “This new facility will serve to strengthen our commitment to the industries we serve.”
In attendance for the groundbreaking ceremonies held on the building site were the mayor of Sugar Land, David Wallace, members of the city council, county commissioners, local attorneys and the building contractors. Construction is expected to be complete in nine or ten months.
