Newnan, Georgia - Susan Lynch, General Manager for the Field Instruments Business Unit for Yokogawa Corporation of America, has been invited to serve on the Board of Directors for the Measurement Control and Automation Association. The MCAA, headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia, is the trade association of leading companies who manufacture and distribute process controls, field measurement and analysis instrumentation, systems and software used in industrial process control and factory automation around the world. Her three-year term will begin during the Executive Forum on May 16, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I am honored to be asked, and believe this opportunity will provide me an opportunity to express the needs of a company like Yokogawa as well learn and promote the needs of other companies in our industry," said Lynch. "I am happy to accept the three-year tenure."

In her new role as Director, Lynch will serve both the interests of Yokogawa and the industry as a whole. She will be required to attend several board meetings each year, and participate in conference calls focusing on the development and improvement of member programs. Additionally, Lynch will be assigned a constituency of member companies with whom she will communicate regularly to ensure their needs and concerns are being addressed by the association.
