Yokogawa has world over more than 600 customer Installations covered under the Remote Maintenance
Support facility, running successfully since 1989,from Tokyo, Singapore, Europe and US regions.
The Remote Maintenance Support facility helps in attending to the DCS problems on-line as soon as
reported . This facility makes it possible to access the system in problem within 10 mins. This
is a distinct differentiator of the Service Capabilities of YIL in comparison to others.
Through this Remote Maintenance Support, YIL will be able to make virtual visits to its
Automation Installations for diagnosing and Trouble Shooting. YIL's customer needs to setup a
prerequisite Hardware / Software suite as a part of the automation system to avail this Expert
Service from RMS Center at Bangalore, through a simple Telephone Connection.
Since this is a point-to-point customer enabled service, it is free from unsolicited access, also
far superior to common web enabling which is often mistaken as Remote Maintenance Support.
