The main features of ProSafe-RS are as follows:

1)  SIL3 certification, even in a single configuration:  Each processor, input, and output module has a dual redundant architecture, ensuring SIL3 protection even when the module is deployed in a single configuration. In other words, each module has SIL3 capability. And when in the "pair & spare " configuration, SIL3 protection is maintained even if an entire module fails.

2)  Integration with CENTUM:  The ProSafe-RS SIS achieves true integration with the CENTUM DCS.

3)  Full diagnostic functions:  In addition to being able to diagnose faults in the main unit, ProSafe-RS can also identify problems in the cables and in the relay board output.

4)  Event analysis:  ProSafe-RS features high-speed 1 ms memory for storing event data and an event analysis software tool.

5)  Able to function in extreme temperatures:  ProSafe-RS can operate at temperatures as extreme as -20℃ and +70℃.
