Marine Standards

Marine standards set the conditions and performance requirements for the equipment and systems used on ships and offshore floating facilities. Because they tend to operate in highly isolated locations, offshore floating ships and facilities tend to have higher risks.

The equipment on these vessels are also required to withstand severe vibration, power fluctuations, and other conditions. Accordingly, they must meet higher performance standards than onshore facilities. ProSafe-RS has been approved by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS, US), Lloyd's Register (UK), and Bureau Veritas (BV, France) -- which are the main international marine standards bodies.

We provide the ProSafe-RS system to operators of FPSO facilities and LNG carriers.
