Direct input temperature modules
We have released two kinds of modules that can directly receive signals from mV, thermocouple (TC), and RTD sensors. These modules are all certified for use in SIL3 applications. They have 16 input channels that are isolated from each other, which enhances safety by improving the accuracy of temperature measurements.
Direct input from temperature sensors eliminates the need for a signal converter, reducing the device footprint.
Access control and operation history management software
For the engineers operating the ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system, this software precisely controls which operations individual engineers are permitted to perform.
At the same time, it automatically keeps a log of the system accesses and operations performed by each engineer. This enhances system security and improves safety by making it easier to pinpoint and analyze system problems.
Support for Windows 7
ProSafe-RS R3.01.00 is the first major safety instrumented system to support Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 7.
