Establishes instantaneous transmission remote I/O (F3LR02-1W)
Uses fiber-optic cables for noise immunity (F3LR02-0N)
| These interface modules can be used to build a remote I/O system by connecting FA-M3 main and sub units using a FA-Type 2 bus for ultra high-speed transmission (1024 points/ms). Connections can be by star, daisy-chain or loop. The FA bus type 2 module allows maximum inter-station transmission distance of 10 m and total distance of 80 m. Using fiber-optic cables, the fiber-optic FA bus type 2 module supports maximum inter-station distance of 500m, total distance of 1.4 km and allows up to 32 slave stations to be connected, making it ideal for use in multi distributed systems. |
