FA-M3 Programming Tool WideField2 R4 (SF620-ECW)

The SF620-ECW FA-M3 Programming Tool WideField2 for the FA-M3 sequence CPU modules allows a user to create and debug programs, as well as manage applications. Its enhanced program reuse feature, coupled with functions to debug various advanced function modules of FA-M3 dramatically increases efficiency of program and application development.

High-resolution Analog Input Modules (F3AD08-4R, -5R, -6R)

F3AD08-_R are analog-to-digital canversion input modules equipped with 16-bit A/D converters.

YHLS slave units are available in the following seven types to suit different applications.

YHLS Slave Units

The YHLS slave units are remote I/O units controlled by YHLS master module (F3LH02-0N) via high-speed communication. The YHLS master module can control a max. of 32 YHLS slave units per point.

Ethernet Interface Module (F3LE12-0T)

The F3LE12-0T is to be installed in an I/O slot of the FA-M3R. It can be connected to an IEEE802.3-compliant network (100BASE-TX or 10BASE-T).

Ladder Communication Modules (F3RZ82-0F, F3RZ91-0F)

The F3RZ82-0F provides RS-232-C communication capability and The F3RZ91-0F provides RS-422-A or RS-485 communication capability from a sequence CPU module under the control of a ladder program.

YHLS Master Module (F3LH02-2N) Released

Yokogawa High-speed Link System (YHLS) master module has two YHLS interface ports. It allows easy implementation of a 1:N high-speed remote I/O system.

Features

Up to 63 slaves can be connected per port to provide 1008 inputs and 1008 outputs.

Maximum transmission distance for each port is 300m (at 3Mbps)
-
Each port can communicate with a maximum of 63 slaves with response speed of 0.97 ms in full-duplex mode.

Transistor Output Modules (F3YD32-1P, F3YD64-1P) Released

F3YD32-1P and F3YD64-1P are 32- and 64-point transistor output modules with built-in protection against output short-circuit.
Features

Up to 63 slaves can be connected per port to provide 1008 inputs and 1008 outputs.

Maximum transmission distance for each port is 300m (at 3Mbps)

Each port can communicate with a maximum of 63 slaves with response speed of 0.97 ms in full-duplex mode.

Positioning Module (with MECHATROLINK-II Interface)(F3NC96-0N)

F3NC96-0N is to be installed on the base unit and supports MECHATROLINK-II communications.

Provides an interface (C1 master) to a high-speed motion field network based on MECHATROLINK-II, a standard proposed by Yaskawa Electric.

High-speed transmission of 10 Mbps with cycle time of 1 ms for 8 axes or 2ms for 15 axes enables control data to be transmitted and received in real time to achieve fast response and synchronization of peripherals.

Supports versatile positioning control of multiple liner interpolation motions of up to 15 axes in any combination, as well as change in speed or target position during motion.

Personal Computer Link Module (F3LC11-2F) Released

F3LC11-2F is connected to a higher-level computer such as PC or FA computer through an RS-422-A/RS-485 interface to provide a communication channel.

High-speed Data Acquisition Module (F3HA08-0N) Released

F3HA08-0N module is an 8-channel analog input module to be installed in an I/O slot of the base module.

Features

4-channel concurrent A/D conversion with shortest cycle time of 50 micro second using 4 built-in A/D converters. It can sample up to 8 channels by switching between two sets of 4 channels.

Data acquisition into  a 24,576-word internal buffer independent of scan cycle of a sequence program.

New Positioning Modules (F3NC32-0N, F3NC34-0N) Released

The F3NC32-0N and F3NC34-0N positioning modules are advanced I/O modules to be mounted onto the base module of FA-M3 range-free controller.

Features

High speed position reference pulse output at 5 Mpps max. for servo motors and 1 Mpps max. for stepper motors provides comfortable margin for driving linear, DD and other high speed, high precision motors.

Available positioning control modes include: position control (PTP, CP and indexing), speed control, speed control to position control switchover, and position control to speed control switchover. Interpolation systems include linear, circular and helical. 
-
Two operation modes are provided: pattern operation which uses preset action petterns and direct operation which uses a ladder program.

A 5 Mpps pulse counter (supporting absolute encorders) is provided for each axis.

FA-M3 ToolBox for Positioning Modules (SF662-ECW) Released

ToolBox for Positioning Modules is a Window-based software tool for configuring positioning modules(F3NC32-0N and F3NC34-0N) to perform positioning operations.

Installing ToolBox for Positioning Modules(SF662-ECW) and ToolBox for Temperature control and Monitoring Modules(SF661-ECW) on the same PC allows temperature control and PID modules, temperature monitoring modules and positioning modules(with positioning pulse output) to be conveniently managed within the same project.

ASi Master Module (F3LA01-0N) Released

The F3LA01-0N module is an AS-interface(ASi) master module to be installed in an I/O slot of the FA-M3R.

Features

Compliant with AS-interface V2.1, and capable of controlling a maximum of 62 slaves. also supports slaves with analog data, such as temperature monitoring or other analog devices.

The ASi master module connects to slaves using an ASi flat cable. Connection and disconnection of a slave is extremely easy, without any need for even cable cutting and stripping

PROFIBUS-DP Interface Module (F3LB01-0N) Released

The PROFIBUS-DP interface module is a PROFIBUS-DP master module to be installed in an I/O slot of the FA-M3R.

New Power Supply Modules (F3PU10-0S, F3PU20-0S) Released

New power supply modules F3PU10-0S (respectively F3PU20-0S) and F3PU10-0N (respectively F3PU20-0N) have the same dimensions, internal circuitry and other characteristics, except that F3PU10-0S (respectively F3PU20-0S) uses M4-screw terminals while F3PU10-0N (respectively F3PU20-0N) uses M3.5-screw terminals.
F3PU10-0S and F3PU20-0S comply with EN61010-1:2001 but F3PU10-0N and F3PU20-0N do not.

New Value2 (F3SC23-xx) and Spare Parts (F3SP08-SP) Released

F3SC23-xx and F3SC22-xx have the same dimensions, internal circuitry and other characteristics, except that power supply CPU (F3SP08-SP) of F3SC23-xx uses M4-screw terminals while power supply CPU (F3SP08-0P) of F3SC22-xx uses M3.5-screw terminals.
F3SC23-xx and F3SP08-SP comply with EN61010-1:2001 but F3SC22-xx and F3SP08-0P do not.

ToolBox for Temp. Control and PID Module (SF661-ECW) Released

The SF661-ECW is a parameter setup tool for the Temperature Control and PID Modules (F3CU04-0N and F3CU04-0N) and the Temperature Monitoring Module (F3CX04-0N).

Temperature Control and PID Modules (F3CU04-0N, -1N) Released

The input sampling period is 200 ms for 4 loops. The input conversion accuracy is 0.1% of full scale, and the input resolution is 0.1C.

Universal Input
Each channel may be configured for either thermocouple, RTD or DC voltage input connection.

Dynamic Auto-tuning
Simply setting a minimum number of parameters (e.g., input ranges and control set points) is sufficient to start operation, without need for manual tuning of PID parameters.
If a control set point or other major condition is changed during operation, PID parameters are automatically recalculated.

Temperature Monitoring Module (F3CX04-0N) Released

Features

It occupies a single slot but can monitor four channels of temperature inputs.

High speed and high performance
The input sampling period is 200 ms (for four channels). The input conversion accuracy is 0.1% of full scale, and the input resolution is 0.1C.

Universal input type
Thermocouple, RTD or DC voltage input signal type may be selected and connected for each channel.
-
As input conditions and other data that are needed for temperature monitoring are stored in the module, no parameter setup is required at system startup.
-
Individual input channels are isolated from each other, as well as from the internal circuit.

Sequence CPU Modules (F3SPXX-XS) Released

Five new sequence CPU modules (F3SP28-3S, F3SP38-6S, F3SP53-4S, F3SP58-6S and F3SP59-7S) are available for the FA-M3R. These are dedicated ladder sequence processors.

The modules can be reconfigured to suit the device size and operating mode of the application in use.

Structures allow a user to easily reuse data.

Circuit comments, sub-comments, and tag name definitions (including I/O comments) can be saved in the CPU program area, improving maintenance efficiency.

Indirect designation and input macro instructions facilitate standardization and modularization of programs.

Memory Card Module Released

The memory card module provides support for compact flash (CF) memory when it is mounted in an I/O slot of the FA-M3 Range Free Multi-controller. With this module installed, the contents of CPU module devices can be saved as files on a CF card. Likewise, device data can be read from the files stored on this card and written to the CPU module. A CF card can be removed without turning off the FA-M3R and be used on any PC running Microsoft Windows.

Ethernet Interface Module (F3LE11-0T) Released

Features

Remote Programming allows the creation and maintenance of programs with the FA-M3 WideField2 Programming Tool over an Ethernet network.
-
Email allows the transmission by email of data such as the values of sequence CPU devices.
Provides additional support for the remote uploading/downloading of programs and sampling trace data.
-
100Mbps supports high-speed 100BASE-TX networks and automatically switches between 10Mbps and 100Mbps.
-
Higher-level Links (functionally equivalent to the F3LE01-5T module)
allows a remote user to read from and write to sequence CPU devices, do uploads and downloads, and open and close programs from another node on the network.

FA-M3 Programming Tool WideField2 Released

The FA-M3 WideField2 Programming Tool (SF620-ECW) for the FA-M3 sequence CPU modules allows a user to create and debug programs as well as manage applications. Its enhanced program reuse feature, coupled with functions for debugging FA-M3 functional blocks, dramatically increases the efficiency of program development.

Position Modules with Multi-channel Pulse Output Released

Yokogawa has released two new position modules (F3YP14-0N and F3YP18-0N) which have multi-channel pulse outputs.

Features:

- The position modules can take just 0.09ms* to start up and begin synchronization with peripheral devices. (* Depends on the number of axes. See GS34M6H51-02E.)
- The maximum pulse output speed is 3.998Mpps for servo motors, 499.75kpps for pulse motors.
- Has an S-shaped acceleration/deceleration speed control function that smoothly controls position
- The F3YP18-0N position module can control up to eight axes. With expansion base modules, up to 36 F3YP18-0N modules can be configured, controlling up to 288 axes.

Cost-effective Value II Package Released

Yokogawa has released the Value II (model F3SC22), a cost-effective and compact programmable controller. This consists of the new F3SP08 CPU and power supply module, and a new high-density 32-point (16-input and 16-output) digital I/O module. The controller has an enhanced memory capacity of 10K ladder steps. (The previous model, the F3SC21, had just 5K steps program memory capacity.)

Declaration of FA-M3 CE-mark Compliance

Yokogawa has declared that FA-M3 modules meet the requirements for the CE mark. Please refer to the general specifications document GS34M6C11-21E (available in our download section) for a chart showing which modules are CE-mark compliant.

High-speed Personal Computer Link Module Released

Two high-speed personal computer link modules with modem interfaces for connecting with PCs and other computer devices were released on May 10, 2001. These are the F3LC11-1F (one RS-232-C port) and F3LC12-1F (two RS-232-C ports). The maximum transmission speed is now 115.2Kbps for both the F3LC11-1F and the F3LC12-1F.

FA-M3 OPC Server Released

Takebishi Electric Sales Corporation of Kyoto, Japan, has announced the release for overseas sale of an FA-M3 OPC Server (overseas product name: FA-M3 Explorer). This product can establish a communications link between the FA-M3 and any SCADA software supporting the OPC function.
