Shibusawa Award
Shibusawa Award
We successfully developed a new clamp-on tester with an electrical compensation circuit that corrects for any mechanical or assembly variations in the clamp sensor, reduces the influence of external magnetic fields to one fifth that of conventional devices, and accurately measures a 1mA leakage current.
30031 Clamp-on Leakage Current Tester
● Accurately measures leakage currents as low as 1mA, which makes it ideal for checking the insulation of low-voltage circuit and electrical components.
● Can measure a broad range of currents, from leakage currents at a resolution of 0.001mA to load currents of up to 60A.
AC current: 3/30mA, 30/60A
Accuracy: 1.0%+5 digit (0~30mA)
      1.0%+5digit (0~50A)
      5.0%+5digit (50~60A)
The influence of an external magnetic field from an adjacent cable is typically 0.0005%.
The Shibusawa Award was established in 1956 to commemorate the achievements of the late Dr. Motohara Shibusawa, who was honored by the nation with the Person of Cultural Merit commendation. The Shibusawa award is presented each year to persons who make outstanding achievements in electrical maintenance and service, a field in which Dr. Shibusawa was very active and influential. This is a prestigious award that carries considerable weight in this field.
