YOKOGAWA

Yokogawa Electric Corporation

FCN/FCJ

Connectivity

TCP/IP based STARDOM autonomous controllers can easily fit into your existing systems and network infrastructure without adding gateway or laying dedicated networks.

Controller/Device Link by Networking

Integration of Control Domain
FCN and FCJ autonomous controllers are designed to be installed in a distributed manner, so the hardware is compact and the software architecture is highly independent. Links between FCNs and FCJs as well as seamless links with various distributed devices and controllers can be implemented with ease, enabling the entire control domain to be integrated.

Various Field Networks
Various field networks for network distribution at the field level, such as FOUNDATION Fieldbus, are supported by FCNs and FCJs, adding benefits of device management, reduction of wiring, and more.
Inter-controller Communication
FCN and FCJ can communicate directly not only with other FCNs and FCJs, but also with other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) such as Yokogawa FA-M3 and Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC without needing a PC. (Allen-Bradley and Siemens controllers will be supported in due course.)
Link with General-purpose Communication Devices
FCN/FCJ can communicate with PC-LINK or Modbus communication-enabled devices or other general-purpose communication devices such as bar-code readers through an Ethernet or serial communication link.
Link with Power Monitors and Temperature Controllers
By linking local panel-mounted power monitors and temperature controllers from Yokogawa M&C, integrated monitoring of power consumption becomes possible for energy efficiency, and control loops can be operated and monitored both remotely and locally.
Display Unit Connection
FCN and FCJ can be directly connected with a display unit for local, graphic user interface (GUI)-based operations on site.
Connection with other vendors' SCADAs
FCN and FCJ can be connected with other suppliers' SCADAs or applications compliant with OPC DA and AE by using "FCN/FCJ OPC Server for Windows".
DNP3 serial communication slave function and Modbus TCP server function are also supported.
