Yokogawa has taken its decades of expertise in configuring control functions and put them into libraries of software parts available as Application Portfolios. By using control logic parts from a portfolio to build applications running on FCNs and FCJs, sophisticated yet stable functions can be easily built. |

Each portfolio contains various control logic parts to meet diverse functional requirements, and users can add desired functions to a provided part and register it as a new part. Some control logic parts in portfolios come with the corresponding software parts for operation and monitoring windows on VDS Versatile Database Server, so using VDS together with FCNs and FCJs doubles the benefits of Application Portfolios.
