STARDOM FCN/FCJ
New Release R1.90
With Explosion Protection Certification for North America and controller embedded web capability, STARDOM becomes competitive solution for SCADA applications.
For SCADA applications
Explosion Protection Standards
FCN/FCJs comply with the explosion protection standards for installation in upstream projects in North America. When Plant Resource Manager (PRM) is installed, operators and maintenance personnel can remotely monitor the maintenance information and condition of HART field devices in oil fields and other similar locations.
- FCN modules compliant with CSA Explosion Protection Standard
- CSA Non-Incendive, CSA Type "n"
- HART modules compliant with FM Explosion Protection Standard
- FM Non-Incendive
DNP3 communication available on dual-redundant CPU
DNP3 is widely used as a SCADA communication protocol. FCN/FCJs have already supported the following functions. Now DNP3 communication is available on a dual-redundant CPU using the NFLR111/NFLR121 serial communication module.
| Communication Method | Function |
|---|---|
| Serial Communication | Slave (Level 3) |
| Ethernet Communication | Server (Level 3) |
FOR DCS integration applications
All the data from the intelligent FCN/FCJ RTUs is integrated on the CENTUM CS R3 human interface station (HIS), and has the same look and feel as the data from the DCS. When using STARDOM in combination with a DCS, you can easily expand and modify your system.
Improved OS support for System Integration OPC Client Station (SIOS)
- FN/FCJ OPC Server can now run on an SIOS using the Windows 2003 Server operating system
For stand-alone applications
With the Web-based capability embedded in the STARDOM autonomous controllers, graphs of the controller data can be viewed in Internet Explorer, improving ease of use.
