New Release R7.01

STARDOM VDS now supports Windows 7 and the latest devices.

The VDS HMI client has been changed from Internet Explorer ( + Java plug-in ) to VDS Viewer, a Java-based viewer developed by Yokogawa.
From this release, Internet Explorer is no longer required. The limitations of using Internet Explorer in the combination with OS have been eliminated.
There is no change in the graphic engineering tool (Graphic Designer), and graphic files created with R6 and earlier are compatible with VDS Viewer.

VDS R7.01 is compatible with Windows 7. From this release, the following Windows editions are supported:

・Windows 7 Professional (32 bit)
・Windows XP Professional SP3

To improve visibility on large displays, an extra-large trend primitive has been added.

Support of the following MELSEC CPUs has been added:

・Q Series: Q50UDEH, Q100UDEH

FCN/FCJ R3.10 is compatible with Windows 7. From this release, the following Windows editions are supported:

・Windows 7 Professional (32 bit)
・Windows XP Professional SP3

Compatible with Excel 2010. From this release, the following Excel versions are supported:

・Excel 2010 (32 bit)
・Excel 2007 SP2

Compatible with Visual Studio 2010. From this release, the following Visual Studio versions are supported:

・Visual Studio 2010
・Visual Studio 2008
