Miniaturization
The size of the data acquisition engine has been reduced drastically to just one-fifth of the conventional size (Yokogawa products) by redeveloping key components. A good example is the revolutionary integrated planar transformer, developed by Yokogawa, which eliminates the windings of transformers by adopting multi-layer, high precision, thin-film coils. These make the transformer more compact and higher performance. A second example is the surface-mounted solid-state relay (SSR), the power consumption of which has been reduced by improving the high breakdown voltage SSR, which has been proven reliable by use in millions of channels.
Excellent Environmental Adaptability
The operating temperature of the base modules including input modules, power supply and communication control section ranges from -10°C to 60°C. In response to such diverse uses as for instruments in cars, DC-driven versions have been developed which are rugged and durable.
Higher Speed
Parallel processing in the data acquisition engines in every 10 channels increases the speed of scanning to 300 points in just half a second, four times the speed of conventional Yokogawa units. This not only enables fast-changing phenomena to be measured but also improves the simultaneity of measurements and hence the reliability and accuracy of measurements.
Expandability
The modular construction allows you to increase or change the number of I/O points easily, at the job site. You can progressively increase the number of measurement points and measurement items, enabling you to optimize your system, while significantly reducing the initial monetary outlay.
