Current transformer
In general, large currents (hundreds of amperes) cannot be directly input to powermeters for measuring power. Therefore, the current is passed through a CT (current transformer) prior to measurement. This article provides some points regarding selection, operation, and maintenance of CTs.

Firmware Release Upgrade for the MW100 Data Acquisition Unit
MW100 A firmware release upgrade (to R2.06) has been completed, and the most recent firmware is available on the Web for downloading.

<Contents of the Upgrade>

  • Improved method for entering numbers with decimal points: Range, scaling, and MATH channel settings.
  • Collective setting of channels: Enter settings (input range, output range, MATH input) on consecutive channels all at once.
  • Elimination of computation setting requirement: The requirement for one module with no SKIP measurement channels was eliminated.
  • Fixed a bug in the timer reset action that occurred when the relay event of the event/action function is used for the level operation.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when entering settings in the serial communication setting screen.
