This issue provides the latest information on some of our new products. The just-introduced PR300 Power and Energy Meter is a panel-mounted meter with easier operability, higher performance, and higher accuracy. We are also announcing the availability of two new software programs online that provide upgrades to existing products. Please read below for more details.

POWERCERT PR300 Power and Energy Meter
POWERCERT PR300 Power and Energy Meter
We are glad to announce that the POWERCERT PR300 Power and Energy Meter was just released today. The new PR300 is an advanced panel-mounted meter with easier operability, higher performance, and higher accuracy. Allowing you to combine any three measurement items and show them all at once on the large LED display, the PR300 is designed to meet the metering needs at power facilities and the need for monitoring energy consumption.

Software
Release Upgrades (to R2.02) for DAQWORX
These release upgrades offer support for our latest models -- the DX1000/DX2000 DXAdvanced, the µR20000 Intelligent Industrial Recorder, and the MW100 DAQMASTER, all of which were released last year. In order to expand the range of applications we have also upgraded the functions of AddObserver and AddObserver Runtime, the add-on software for monitoring and operation in user-created screens. In addition, our Web site offers Flash movies online that demonstrate easy setup and operating techniques.

The release upgrade is also available on the Web. Downloading requires an ID and password, obtainable through product registration. If you have not registered your product, please visit one of the Web sites below:

Revision Upgrade (to R2.11) for the MW100
We have released a firmware upgrade (to R2.11) that is available for download from our Web site.

[Contents of the Upgrade]

  • Adds an "Overview display" to "Monitor Display Screen"
  • Adds an "Alarm Summary Screen" to "Monitor Display Screen"
  • Adds a file list box for selecting a file name when saving or loading setup data
  • Adds a file division function to the recording modes (requires the Web setting screen)
  • Adds support for Ethernet 100Base-TX (a dip switch allows you to fix the communication speed to 10 Mbps half duplex, if necessary.)
