Starting this month we are adding new contents to NetSOL Online. For this new "Customer's Voice" section, we visit actual Yokogawa customers and interview them to hear their frank experiences before and after purchasing their Yokogawa instruments. The number of these articles will gradually increase in the coming months, and we hope you will refer to them when chosing your own instruments.
In this issue we also give our "One Point Lesson" on the new functions added with the newly-released revision 2 of DXAdvanced DX1000/DX2000.

Grammar Points!
- Verbs almost always go at the end—well, they almost always go almost at the end. Sometimes there are some extra "particles"(grammatical markers) such as two used in this lesson, "ka" and "ga."
"Ka" on the end of a sentence turns it into a question:
| Nanika osagashi deshou ka? |
What are you looking for? |
| Oikura desu ka? |
How much is it? |
"Ga" on the end of a phrase or sentence means "but," as in:
| T-shatsu wo sagashiteiru no desu ga. |
I'm looking for a T-shirt, but… |
This "ga" is used to hint at something to avoid sounding too abrupt. In this case the part left off could have been "…, but could you help me?"
- Three Power Verbs: arimasu, desu, and narimasu
Take a look at the following table to get an idea of how these extremely useful verbs are used.
